My six year old has asked me numerous times to get his ears pierced. And it was just seconds before I caught myself asking the same question (in my mind) "Wait a second...if he was a girl, would I have even hesitated?"<br /><br />In the end, it turned out much like your situation. I said "Let's go," and he said "Um...hold on..." <br /><br />Double standards.
